Admission Process
To study at our school, you will need a ‘Student’ residence status. With a student visa, you can study for up to 2 years. The application schedules for April and October enrollment are as follows:

Flow from Application to Arrival in Japan
Step 1: Submit Application Documents & Pay Examination Fee
Please send all required documents for the application by the specified document submission deadline. Also, please transfer the examination fee to the designated account by the deadline.
Step 2: Review by Our School
After receiving the documents, enrollment eligibility will be determined through document review and selection. We will issue an ‘Enrollment Permit’ and submit the application documents to the competent Immigration Bureau.
Step 3: Application to Immigration Services Agency
After review by the Immigration Services Agency, those who are approved will receive a ‘Certificate of Eligibility for Residence Status.’
Step 4: Receipt of Certificate & Payment of Tuition
Those who receive the ‘Certificate of Eligibility for Residence Status’ should pay the enrollment fee and tuition via bank transfer. After confirming payment, our school will send the ‘Certificate of Eligibility for Residence Status,’ ‘Enrollment Permit,’ and ‘Enrollment Schedule.’
Step 5: Visa Application
Please apply for a student visa at a Japanese Embassy or Consulate. Those wishing to stay in the school dormitory should submit the application form by the specified deadline.
Step 6: Visa Issuance
Please inform us of your flight arrival information and contact details in Japan.
Step 7: Arrival in Japan & Enrollment
Enroll at Karuizawa International Japanese Language School. Orientation and start of classes.
