Campus

Regional Features

Rich Natural Environment

The campus of Karuizawa International Japanese Language School is located in Nishi-Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture, in the middle of Japan. It is surrounded by beautiful nature throughout the four seasons — cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in early summer, autumn foliage, and snow in winter. There are many enjoyable activities not available in the city, such as mountain climbing, skiing, and hot springs.

Community Exchange

By participating in local events and volunteer activities, there are many opportunities to interact with Japanese people. This allows students to actually experience Japanese culture and daily life while learning Japanese.

Comfortable Living Environment

Within about 20 minutes from the school, all necessary facilities for daily life are available, including large supermarkets, hospitals, and convenience stores. The town is very clean and quiet, making it the ideal place to focus on studies.
